Sallie L.
My name is Sallie and I am 25 years old originally from Atlanta, GA. I am currently taking time off of school to work and enjoy my first few months in the city. In school I am a Biology major and a Psychology minor, hoping to obtain a career in animal behavior. I have owned a Golden Retriever named Lola since 2004 so I love big dogs. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for about 6 months before moving to New York. At the shelter I did numerous jobs, anything from dog walking to assisting the vet techs. I hope that having this job with Swifto will help me on my path to having a successful career with animals.

I love dogs and I love making dogs happy. All my life, I have either owned dogs, cared for dogs, or walked dogs. With this experience, I've found that a dog's physical health is the key ingredient to a happy dog. Given the chance, I would be very dedicated to helping your dog achieve this, as well as giving your dog the care and attention they deserve while you are away.

Gerald M.
I pride myself in offering a unique experience during each walk and love the time I spend with my dogs during thorough walks that engage by doing occasional simple commands such as sit, heel and down. Dogs have always been a part of my life beginning with with a Shi Tzu growing up. Currently I have two dogs, who are Chow cocker spaniel mixes.

Carmen C.
Hello my name is Carmen, I am an Earth Science major studying at Kingsborough. I've been a dog owner ever since I was a child. My last pet was a Labrador mix named Lassie who I cared for over 15 years. Being around dogs is something that I've always loved, and it brings me a sense of comfort just spending time with them.

Jack R.
Whats up Dog (or owner)! I'm a dog walker by day and stand up comedian by night. When I was a kid I wanted to be a dog when I grew up. I realized that was an unobtainable goal so I settled on professional comedian.

Brian V.
I am a dog owner and dog lover who currently has a 4 year old beagle. I previously was the owner of a beautiful cocker spaniel. I have experience in walking my own dogs and walking the dogs of family and friends whose dogs vary from yorkie's, boxer, toy poodles and labrador retriever's.

Lorena C.
Hello my name's Lorena, I'm from Argentina and came here to NYC in 2000. I'm currently working on my bachelors degree for Veterinary Technology. I'm very passionate about all animals. I see them as precious gems that are sacred in life that should never be used for testing, entertainment, eating, clothing, profit, etc. Every furry client I have is treated as they were my own. I have one furry family member named Daisy! She is a young chubby Shih-Poo. *Pet CPR & First Aid certified 2018

Doruk C.
Hello, this is Doruk's dog Homie and even though I only exist in his imagination, as a dog I can vouch for his inimitable dog walking skills. I can assure you that not only will Doruk walk your dog, but he will do so much more, like have a never-ending conversation that will leave them even more perplexed than the faux ball throw trick inducing passersby to split in half with laughter (because Doruk is the funniest thing since something really funny) while also taking them to all of the most coveted pee and poop spots in the city, to which only he is privy. He also walks adult humanoids of all sizes, breeds and unfortunate dispositions.

Anna N.
Hello Dog Owners! I am an experienced and positive dog walker and pet sitter. I have lived in the city for over 5 years working as a sitter and receptionist and doing improv and sketch comedy at night. I have an open and flexible schedule and like to bring a happy and caring energy into all the home I walk for!

Gabriel G.
I am a videographer who is currently free lancing and developing a film script to be distributed to a major company. I am very fond of animals and nature and enjoy philosophizing about the many aspects of life, love and humanity. I am very sociable and respectful and believe in positivity and maintaining a healthy mindset and physicality, which includes exercise, laughter, and enjoying a drug-free lifestyle. I've owned a Yorkshire Terrier mix and a pure breed American Pit Bull, and have worked personally with various kinds of breeds around my neighborhood in the Bronx. I am very inspired by the relationships that dog owners have with their pets and treat every dog as if they were my own since I am extremely familiar and passionate about the responsibilities that having a dog entails. I am sensitive to the specific needs of each and every dog as well as the demands of their owners and constantly look forward to learning something new through each experience. Just as it is widely believed that a dog is human's best friend, so too can they likewise be human's great teacher and motivation to acquire sympathy, understanding, and be loved.

Hi there!! My name is Gabriel. I have been around dogs my entire life. I have owned Chihuahuas and a Terrier Poodle and I have been around Terriers, Rottweilers, Boxers, Pit Bulls, Dalmations, Yorkeys, Huskies and many others. I strongly believe that a person cannot have a better friend than their dog, and I keep that in mind when I'm caring for other people's dogs. I take it as a huge honor and with great responsibility, the privilege to be part of your dog's life.

Hi my name is Dora. I have grown up around dogs my whole life. From the age of 4 to 16 I had a Shih Tzu named Misty. I currently have an 8 year old Pekapoo. Many family members of mine have always had dogs from Shih Tzu's, Yorkie's, Pitbulls, and more. I have walked dogs as a living. I've walked dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a dog enjoying their walk or play time and even meal time. I love being around animals more than anything and I look forward to getting to know you and your pets.

Tamara A.
Hello! My name is Tamara, but I go by Tammy. I’m from a suburb just north of Chicago, but I received my BA in Psychology at Cornell College in Iowa. I am currently in the process of receiving an MA in Animal Behavior and Conservation from Hunter College. I wish to pursue a career in animal rehabilitation or zoology work, but I am still determining exactly what I want to do. Growing up, there were always at least three dogs in my household. These dogs were usually rescues from the local pet store or strays that my family and I fell in love with. I have owned breeds from Chihuahua to Border Collie, as well as a multitude of mixed breeds. I gained professional experience with dogs at kennels and shelters which helped shape my knowledge of dog behavior and proper handling. I love going for walks and I welcome any chance of having a dog companion to accompany me!
